Announcing Louper's Enterprise Tier: The New Standard in Real-Time Video Collaboration

I am very proud to announce the launch of our new Enterprise tier, a comprehensive solution tailored to the unique needs of Enterprise customers working in film, television, advertising and gaming post-production.

With the launch of our Enterprise tier, we're expanding our offering to accommodate teams with advanced requirements, providing powerful new features whilst retaining Louper’s signature ease of use, reliability and cost-effectiveness.

Our journey began by offering a simple, low-cost solution for freelancers who were looking for a powerful, yet affordable, real-time video collaboration platform. The positive response from the freelance community has been overwhelming, and we are grateful for the encouragement that has helped us grow and improve Louper.

We have always intended to offer an enterprise-level product to the most demanding customers in the industry, and the release of this tier allows us to do just that. Since our official launch in November 2021, Louper has been battle-tested by thousands of users every day from countries all over the world. 24 hours a day, creative teams rely on Louper to enable them to work together faster, more precisely and with greater confidence and clarity.

The Enterprise tier is a comprehensive solution for companies. Features include client-side watermarking, custom branding, granular control over teammate permissions, live chat support and the option to sign an SLA agreement with us.

Client-side Watermarking

It has always been possible to add encoder-side watermarks in LDE, with the benefit that these are burnt into the actual video stream. The downside is that these watermarks are not unique to each participant viewing the stream. Client-side watermarking addresses this problem by adding a unique watermark containing the participant's display name, IP address and email address to video streams inside a Louper room. Additionally, the date and time is shown, as well as session ID information to aid in tracking. Watermarks are unique to each participant in a room, meaning each user is shown their own identifying information overlaid on the video stream.

Granular control over teammate permissions

On the Enterprise plan, you can set a room to be accessible publicly, meaning that anyone with the room link can access your room, or set it to team-only, meaning that only users who are part of your team can access your room. On the Enterprise plan, you can also set your rooms or filespaces to “private”, meaning entry is limited to specific signed-in teammates, rather than your entire team. This is especially useful when managing multiple projects and teams under a single dashboard.

Encryption

Uploaded files on all Louper’s tiers are encrypted in-transit on upload and download. The Enterprise tier also encrypts the at-rest stored files. And Enterprise team owners have the ability to restrict teammates from downloading any of the uploaded files, meaning only the Team owner would have permission to download a file from the account.

Custom branding

You can now add your company logo to your account. Your logo will be displayed prominently in the top left of your dashboard and inside all your rooms.

Free, Starter and Studio plans
